Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive Reserve and Ohio friends

Today we drove to Apopka Park and drove through the wildlife reserve there.  We saw so many alligators and interesting varieties of herons and ducks.

It was fascinating to observe the wildlife living in their natural habitat.

Afterwards we said our good bye's to our friends, Linda and Randy, who were such gracious and generous hosts/hostesses and headed back to our resort.

We had to stop for supplies as our friends from Ohio, Brenda and John, were coming for dinner. We had a fabulous time reconnecting and sharing our travel experiences. In talking about the church they attend in Lake Placid, we found out they support RTS Missions which is the organization I went through when serving on the medical missions trip in the Dominican Republic last year.  It was quite the connection and we so enjoyed spending time with them.
