Island View

This morning we played Pickleball...it was a little windy and it was HOT. Both of us got overheated.  We went back to our camper and cooled down before going to water volleyball. This was so refreshing!

Afterwards, I was able to talk with Linda about her life, getting married in her 30s and their choice not to have children and being able to retire at an early age. She just lost her husband this yesr unexpectedly. She seems to be handling it well and is staying very involved within the community.

Then I went back to the homefront and Paul took me out to eat at Island View. This is an upscale restaurant on a golf course. Paul had salmon and I had their shrimp scampi. Great food and service 👌

I was also able to call my Aunt Ginna who turned 95 today.  She is so spry for her age and even encouraged me to drive our rig when pulling the camper. She told me that Uncle Chuck had her driving theirs and it was beneficial to Uncle Chuck as then he could take a nap while she was driving. She had to tell me that she loves flowers,  but she got so many bouquets for her birthday that her house looks like a funeral home!  Lol!  I sure love ❤️ my Auntie!
