Busy Courts and Helping a Friend

We went ro Pickleball this morning and it was a very busy court, so we decided to bike over to the tennis court where another Pickleball court had been set up; however someone had taken it down...(we found out later there was some drama among some of the residents and they are having the perpetrator put everything back together). On our way back to the Pickleball courts we started talking with Jim Stutchman who lives in Arkansas. He and his wife have been seasonal residents here ever since his uncle gifted him a home here years ago.  Our conversation lasted almost an hour so I missed Pickleball and went to water aerobics instead. It was a hot morning so it was refreshing!

After lunch, it cooled off and I headed out to play bean bag baseball ⚾️ 😎...it was fun seeing some of the people from last year and getting reacquainted.

Then I cooled off in the pool and soaked in the hot tub before heading back to the camper to make Paul some dinner.

After dinner,  our friend, Cindy, needed help with her kitchen lights as well as a bedroom door that had come off the hinges.

I played with her dogs, Roscoe, Chloe and Weston while Paul worked on her place until it was time for Hoss Collar.

The courts were crowded, but we got to talk with Jim again and also met Fran who is a professional Shuffleboard player in the area.  He taught us how to polish the pucks.
