Sunday Funday!

Today we walked to church. The camp church has grown since last year! We met some new friends who love to play cards!

Then we walked back to our camper and started getting visitors! First Linda and Randy, then Bill then Duwayne. It felt like the old days when people would randomly stop in for a Sundsy afternoon visit! ❤️

Duwayne was born at the same hospital i was born in. His daughter,  Joy, was only 2 pounds, born in 1963, at Shelby Hospital as well. She went blind from not having her eyes covered when under the incubator lights. She called while Duwayne was at our place and I chatted with her a few minutes.  We had met last year in the laundromat when she was here visiting her dad. She is a remarkable independent woman with a career and quite the traveler. She was a Queen for the Lions Club for the whole state of Michigan at one point and had to travel all over the state of Michigan.

After all the visitors,  we sat out in the sun and Shaggy got a haircut! Now that the colder days are behind us he doesn't need the extra fur.

Today also is laundry day....we were running out of our warm clothes so we were happy to finally get a warm sunny day where we can wear our shorts!

Then we went for a bike ride through the park. Paul wanted to watch football then so we had popcorn 🍿 of course!
