Inauguration Day, Laundry and MN Friends
This morning after breakfast we watched the day unfold in Washington DC as Inauguration Dsy celebrations were underway. After lunch, we walked down to the laundry building to pop some loads in and then headed up to the office for some paperwork. We watched a game of wiffleball and then Paul went into town to pick up an adapter for our septic hose while I finished up the laundry.
Today, I saw some Ibis (I think) around our camper. Paul saw them in the moat behind our camper as well. I saw something one of them was eating and it was squirmy and long and black...Paul confirmed...it was a SNAKE!!!!
After that, I was even more grateful to have the birds near our camper!
After awhile, our friends, Linda and Randy, arrived for a visit. We have been friends for a long time (since I was pregnant with Sierra) and it was great to see them and catch up. They are staying the whole winter in Florida about 2 hours away from us and came down to spend time with us.
We went for a walk through the park and through a beautiful wooded area before dinner. Then we talked and visited through the night before they had to leave. We will be having adventures with them through this weekend.
